Open Source

Open source software for Cardano and Handshake

Our public repositories include products and the code behind them: protocol libraries, node implementations, examples, test tools, and infrastructure automation. Start with selected projects below, then browse the full catalog, including work that is not a standalone product.

Shared engineering, published in the open

The repository list includes the software teams use directly, the libraries that support it, and the experiments and operations code that help us build and run it.

Protocols and runtimes

Protocol libraries, ledger models, Plutigo, Ouroboros Mock, and our Plutus VM benchmark suite support Cardano networking, script evaluation, and testing.

Nodes, data, and applications

Dingo, Handshake Node, Adder, Bursa, Shai, Buidler Fest Workshop, and transaction APIs cover node software, indexing, wallets, trading, and application workflows.

Operations and development

cardano-up, nview, TxTop, and Cardano TxPump support developer environments, node monitoring, and workload testing. Container builds, network configurations, and deployment automation help make setups repeatable.

Across ecosystems

Most repositories support Cardano, with Handshake Node, cDNSd, and monitoring tools representing our work across the Handshake ecosystem.

Handshake Node

A Go implementation of the Handshake blockchain node, including consensus, covenants, name state, peer-to-peer transport, mining, and RPC interfaces.

cDNSd

A Handshake naming service that indexes Cardano-based second-level domains and resolves them at runtime.

Plutigo

A pure-Go evaluator for Untyped Plutus Core, covering Cardano Plutus V1–V3 with early V4 support.

Ouroboros Mock

A Go library and CLI framework for mocking Ouroboros connections and testing protocol conversations.

DMQ Lib

An embeddable Go library for topic-based CIP-0137 message queues, subscriptions, publishing, peer discovery, and Ouroboros adapters.

Cardano TxPump

A configurable workload generator that submits payment, delegation, governance, and Plutus transactions to Cardano nodes.
